In every foundry where work is done on an as-needed basis, all products are constantly changing. Tooling can be newly created, already existing, or a combination of cope/drag, matchplate, green sand, no-bake, shell, metal, wood, plastic, or any other type used together. The quantities produced can vary greatly, from just one or two pieces to hundreds or thousands. The Palmer UMM and FMM were specifically designed as high-production No-Bake molding systems that require low initial investments, allowing users to create No-bake molds with any of these tools using minimal setup times, minimal tooling adjustments, and unskilled laborers on the job.
