Ok, I said it was final but this is the revised version#1. The final version will have the spool split, and the handle as a press fit, so no supports are required (I swear to God that design thing and 3D printing is a disease and a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell!) It's a palm-sized fishing pole that you can put in your pocket. Index the eyelet arm to fold, cast, and reel. It springs into position automatically. It also incorporates a pawl to eliminate backlash completely. There are two slots on the end of the handle for holding string when folded up tight. This is the final version and all issues have been resolved successfully. Everything snap fits together perfectly. Be careful when pressing in the squareish pin carefully. I printed it in ABS at .2 layer resolution, with supports under 45 degrees, and 99% infill density. Maybe sand the interior of the spool to make casting smoother right away. Fill with 8 lb line as a good place to start using it. Enjoy using your new fishing pole!
