Palm size trophy cup with stand

A small trophy you can print! I wanted to find one for a thing at work and nothing i saw suited my need. So i built this one in TinkerCAD. Other things i tried failed due to thin parts snapping off or didn't work well with the "gold silk" filament i wanted to use so this one has solid handles and is a bit thick stemmed to avoid wobble when printing. I included a round stand you can use if you like. Or make your own and just put a circular indent in the top of your stand, 16mm wide by 2mm deep. Also included a little plaque model you can put on if you like. if you want to make your own, the stand's diameter is 25mm. Recommend a fine resolution, 0.12mm is what i used to get a shiny smooth finish using a "silk" filament. No supports needed for any of it, provided you print the cup upside down. Enjoy giving your friends a trophy for the funniest/dumbest thing you can think of! Print Settings Printer Brand: Creality Printer: Ender 3 Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: .12mm Infill: 100% Notes: Trophy cup: Recommend 100% infill to keep parts from wanting to snap off, however it'll work with less infill. Print the upside down for best results. I used a raft for mine since it often got knocked off when printing without it. Stand: any infill will work but you want it to be a little heavy so recommend high infill or maybe sneaking some sand into the bottom while it's printing or something of that nature. Plaque: Definitely use a connected brim/skirt or raft so the plaque can stand up. I used tinkercad to put some words on the face of mine, you may be able to import the STL and do the same or just create your own plaque to add on. Post-Printing Use a bit of super glue to hold the trophy in the stand and to attach the plaque. Since no supports are needed there should be no clean up. How I Designed This TinkerCAD experiment. Lots of options for the handles were attempted but due to the size anything small and thin didn't look very good (using my 0.4mm nozzle) so the handles were filled in to lend some strength and avoid breaks. The stem is thicker than i might like but it's needed for strength both when printing and when handling. Category: Props
