This bronze relief depicts a warrior poised to strike with a spear in a dynamic yet refined stance. Created as a study for an esteemed decoration at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées's lodge of honor, it is now on display in the studio-museum of its renowned creator, Antoine Bourdelle (1861–1929).
