palette humide
thingiverse
I designed a simple wet paint palette with a lid to preserve the paint even more, something cleaner than just a Tupperware cover. I added the possibility of printing a background (white if possible) due to the transparency of cotton or paper towels, as the palette printed in a dark color would alter the paint color. Printer Settings Brand: Prusa Printer: Prusa Steel Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 20% Post-Printing Assembly In addition to the palette, you will need: -Cotton or paper towels for wiping off paint -Sulfurized paper Place a white background in the palette (glue it if possible). Cut the sulfurized paper or cotton to the shape of the palette and place it inside. Wet it but do not over-saturate it with water. All that remains is to put the sulfurized paper on top of the cotton, you can boil it to make it less hydrophobic. Water will slightly humidify the sulfurized paper through capillarity, so paint will take several hours to dry instead of a few minutes like a conventional palette. In case of prolonged pause, the lid will preserve the paint even longer. When the palette is too used, simply change the sulfurized paper and the cotton can stay for some time, but change it from time to time to avoid mold growth.
