Palette 2 Upside Down Wall Mount

Palette 2 Upside Down Wall Mount

thingiverse

I wanted to mount my Palette 2 on the wall upside down so that spools feed from the top through the palette to my printer. I tipped the palette back against the wall to prevent it from tipping forward and made sure it was very secure. The lid is removable without any issues, and the brackets don't interfere with the SD card slot. I designed and tested these little brackets specifically for this purpose, and they should be more than sufficient for holding the weight of the Palette 2 even when printed in PLA. In fact, I subjected them to load simulation tests up to 100 kilograms! Printing the cross-bar is optional but recommended for added stability. I used 4.5 millimeter screws, drywall anchors, and 13-millimeter washers in the supplied insets to ensure a secure hold. The combined .STL file contains all three parts in one convenient package. The .ZIP file has separate parts available, and there is also a sliced GCODE file included specifically for users with a MK3 printer.
