Filament path before cutter wheel is unconstrained (does not have a roof). I have made this small plate to create a roof on the filament path right before the cutter wheel and under the cutter wheel. It attaches to the screw of the clear lid in order to be fixed in place and it doesn't reach the blade. It's a simple but very effective mod.
