Paleoindian Period Projectile Point
sketchfab
This is a weathered Clovis or Suwannee point, unmistakably characteristic of the Paleoindian era, spanning 10,000-9,000 years ago. Discovered in the Maximo Point midden in St. Petersburg, Florida, this stone tool exemplifies an aged instrument that was carefully preserved and repurposed during the later Safety Harbor period.
