Moja Palace was built on top of the old Rambla wall, which had to be torn down in this area. The construction project lasted from 1774 to 1790 and was led by architect Josep Mas i Dordal along with his brother Pau, master builder. This building's style was heavily influenced by French models and marked a return to the classicism architectural movement.
