My major is Architecture, and I'm a student at UTS, the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia. This is the Presidential Palace in Brazil, designed by the renowned Architect Oscar Niemeyer. He was a visionary ahead of his time; research his name online to see some futuristic concrete buildings he designed in the 60's. If you're an Architecture student, this building is a must-print model. I've split it into two parts: the base and the structure. Please print the structure upside down with support for a few pieces. Unfortunately, I don't have time to 3D print it before the competition ends, but like all my models, it will print. Many hours were spent researching the building and digging up blueprints. I've added some beautiful sketches Oscar created and a photo of a scale model of the building prior to its construction; he looks so young in that picture! This model was built in ArchiCAD 21 and rendered in Artlantis 6.5. Update: It printed beautifully on May 14, 2018! I just need to reprint the bridge and ramp as they went missing. Update: On May 14, 2018, I added four more photos of the completed model with water; it looks amazing!
