The Palace of Don Luis de la Cueva is a grand estate known as Casa de los Cueva, constructed in the 15th century and formerly belonging to the Cueva family. Its patio boasts distinctive Moorish characteristics, featuring double arched galleries supported by eight-sided columns. The facade from the 17th century showcases an impressive arch with substantial Castilian-style stonework and coats of arms as the sole ornamentation. Walking down Ventanas Street, whose path runs along the inner face of the fortified wall, leads to Josefa Manuel Square, where the imposing and austere facade of the Cueva mansion takes center stage. Today, after undergoing a thorough renovation process, the Palace Don Luis de la Cueva has been transformed into a multifunctional municipal center equipped with state-of-the-art technology to host various events.
