Welcome to Mexico City! The Palacio de Bellas Artes is a renowned cultural hub located on the west side of Mexico City's historic center. Completed in 1934, this magnificent structure showcases an exterior predominantly characterized by Neoclassical and Art Nouveau styles, while its interior boasts an elegant Art Deco flair. The building has earned international acclaim for its stunning murals created by esteemed artists Diego Rivera, Siqueiros, and others. Additionally, it hosts a wide range of captivating exhibitions and theatrical performances that draw in visitors from around the world (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palacio_de_Bellas_Artes). To gain a deeper understanding of this iconic landmark, I leveraged Google Earth to capture images of its rear façade and procured high-quality photographs for the front and sides. I then utilized Fusion 360 to import one of the front images and meticulously rebuild it from scratch using sketches, extrusions, lofts, and other advanced techniques. The resulting design was carefully crafted by Dan10105, who also captured a striking photograph of the building in print form.
