This model was created by MiniWorld3D collaborator Joel Ristol, aka @1.6_3dart The Palace of Cabrera is a gothic castle and historical residence of the viscounts of House Cabrera, an influential and powerful family in the region during the middle ages. Blanes is a village in the coast of Catalunya, northeastern Spain. The palace-castle was built at the same time as the adjacent Church of Saint Mary (Santa María de Blanes) during the 14th and 15th centuries. Today, only the church remains largely intact, while the palace immediately to its side is in ruins, mostly destroyed in the 17th century after several wars and invasions. This model is a reconstruction of what the original appearance would have been (from Wikipedia). MiniWorld3D is excited to bring this model to life as a homage to all the people of Catalonia.
