Today, the Palace of Justice is viewed mainly as a XIX building of the Lviv Polytechnic National University, yet few are aware of its past significance. This unassuming structure embarked on its legendary journey from ancient times to the present in 1891. At that time, according to the designs of Polish architect Francis Skovron, the palace was constructed for the Supreme Court of Galicia. In the center of the room, within the lobby, two stone lions are visible, representing protection of law and laws of Galicia. These statues were created by Anton Popel, the same artist who designed the monument to Adam Mickiewicz in Lviv. Captured using RealityCapture software, this image was shot on a Lumia 930 smartphone.
