For a fresh presentation and updated STL files, visit: https://www.designuitinspiratie.nl/passer/ This is something I created to sketch circles efficiently. You're probably right; the correct term would be "a pair of compasses." Feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken! The concept revolves around holding down the center by hand while rotating the rules around it. The holes are designed for inserting a ballpoint or pencil, with larger holes (2mm) spaced 10mm apart on the red ruler and smaller holes (1mm) spaced 1mm from each other. The blue ruler features 2mm holes, which are 5mm apart. The center boasts a scale divided into 10° segments, as well as markings at 0°, 22.5°, 45°, 67.5°, and 90°. This scale enables precise quarter circle creations, among other tasks... At the core, you can fit a 3mm drill, rod, or pointed object that can be secured with an M3x10mm bolt and nut.
