Painting a plastic model part requires a specific drying setup that keeps it stable and secure. To achieve this, we use a custom-made drying rack/block designed to hold various-sized parts. Its dimensions are 150 x 150 x 30 mm, providing ample space for multiple components to dry simultaneously. The block features several strategically placed holes with a diameter of approximately 3mm, allowing skewers to be inserted easily and securely. This feature enables the user to suspend their model part from above, preventing any warping or damage that can occur when parts are left to dry on their own.
