Painting Handle V3.0

I loved the design of the painting handle created by karakulli, and the usability of the updated version by Ziddiccan was spot on, but there was one glaring flaw in both designs. The edges that held the base were straight up at 90 degrees, which made them fail to secure the base properly. Additionally, the tolerance for the holes in Ziddiccan's design was virtually non-existent, making it extremely difficult to slide the side holders in and out with ease. In fact, my first attempt ended up in the trash because they got stuck together and I couldn't pry them apart. So, I made a few simple tweaks to address these issues. I increased the tolerance for the holes, which allowed the side holders to glide smoothly in and out. I also angled the inner edges that held the base in place, making it much more secure. If you consider karakulli's original design as version one and Ziddiccan's update as version two, then this revised version would be considered V3.0.
