Painting Handle
prusaprinters
A painting handle capable of holding miniatures with bases of 25mm as well as 32mm in diameter but not limited to this. The handle makes it much easier to hold a miniature during painting. It has 2 different slots for bases of different diameter. There is also a slot on the bottom where you could glue in a 10x1 magnet in order to stick it to some metallic surface.Print SettingsRafts: NoSupports: NoResolution: 0.2Infill: 20%Notes: Make sure the Caps are printed with solid infill. For the handle I recommend to print with 3 or more perimeters.Print2x Caps2x Platform1x HandlePost-PrintingTo assemble the handle you would need a rubber band and a paper clip.Assembly instructionsTransform a paper clip into a hook.Tightly wind the rubber band around itself three or four times. Although winding it four times can be more challenging, it often results in better performance. This will vary depending on the size and elasticity of your specific rubber band.Use the paper clip hook to grasp the coiled rubber band and secure this to one cap. (See the provided image for reference)Assemble the handle along with the two platforms, threading the paper clip hook through any existing holes in them.Use the hook to catch the end of the rubber band, pulling it through to the other side. Finally, secure the rubber band on the opposite side using a suitable object. This will ensure it remains in place while you're attaching the second cap.Enjoy! Category: Art
