MOLA archaeologists have been meticulously documenting Canons Ashby House, a sixteenth-century country estate in rural Northamptonshire. Beginning as a humble farmhouse, this property was progressively expanded and modified by successive Dryden family members, ultimately yielding the eclectic architecture characteristic of the site today. In addition to conventional drawn and photographic documentation methods, archaeologists have conducted a comprehensive laser survey of the house, with photogrammetric models created for several key features.
