Painted Charm Drying Rack

Painted Charm Drying Rack

My wife paints small charms and wanted a drying rack for them. I figured if it was worth doing...it was worth overdoing. This can be printed without magnets and simply put together, but if you want the pieces to snap together like in the following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7fdCfnrqI2U If you would like this feature then you will need eight 8mm x 3mm magnets and four 6mm x 2mm magnets. If you stack all of the magnets on top of each other (so they attract each other) then you will want to place them according to the diagram shown. Simply make sure that all of the magnets shown in red are the same direction and the magnets shown in blue are flipped over. So, for example, if you have all of the red magnets “face up” or “north pole” up…then all of the blue magnets should be the opposite (“face down” or “south pole” up). I designed this to be printed without supports and while I printed it at .12 layer height, .2 layer height will work just fine. The tolerances are not exact, so there is just a touch of wiggle room. These should fit together (when assembled) easily without being forced. Note that you will need to print 2 hanger feet for final construction.
