Paintbrush Storage

I love francfalco's Pencil pencil case (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1880138) and my daughters were eager to know about creating a paintbrush - so I decided to model and print one. After printing mine, I tweaked the handle to make it thicker and then scaled everything down by 75%. The Crimp requires supports for the nubs - ensure that you print small end facing down as the nubs are near that end. I discovered after printing that I needed to heat the nubs with a lighter for just a second to soften the plastic so I could press it back into a circular shape - mine was slightly oblong. The Bristles fit very tightly into the Crimp. I found it easier to carefully heat the open end of the bristles a little to soften the plastic and then press them into the wide end of the Crimp. Then I applied some Elmer's Glue to the end of the Bristle and reinserted it into the Crimp, letting it dry. Any glue that oozed out the top was simply wiped off and made into a seal around the edge. The Handle does not require supports but after printing, very carefully remove the included support tabs - colored blue in the image. I used an X-Acto knife. I was asked by friends - why a pink handle? Why not a pink handle? If you make one, please share a picture with me.
