Paint Rack For Plaid FolkArt and Apple Barrel Paint
myminifactory
These are designed specifically for use with the 2oz Plaid, FolkArt and Apple Barrel craft paints that you can by in wally world or any hobby/craft store. The are designed so that you can interlock them any way you like to fit your need and space. You will need to glue these together with your glue of choice, but I recommend [this Weld-On SciGrip 16 Cement](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003HNFLMY) if you are printing in PLA. It physically bonds the plastic together the way Testor's plastic model cement used to before Big Brother mandated "sniff proof" cements. Plus, unlike cyanoacrylate (super glue), this stuff doesn't haze or fog your plastic. A dab on each should be fine. For best results, I recommend the following settings: * Layer Height: 0.2 - 0.3mm* Wall Thickness: 0.4mm [assuming a standard 0.4mm nozzle size]* Bottom Layers: 99999* Infill: [irrelevant with Bottom Layers set to 99999]* Supports: disabled Each hex only uses 9g of filament, so you can use up that last little bits of filament you have laying around. **-=[ EDIT ]=-**I added a fillet to the inside of the hex for strength (I forgot to add that when I was through). I also found that the rack would tip forward if you use this vertically, which is how I will be using these. To combat that, I have added another hex that you can print that includes a support lip that extends out almost the length of the paint bottle. These are used only on the lower level of your rack.
