Paint Mixing Tray with Lid (Prints in place)
thingiverse
Who doesn't know the frustration? You mix some paint for your mini, but then you need some more of it, only to find out that half an hour later, it's all dried up, forcing you to start over with a brand new batch. THOSE DAYS ARE FINALLY OVER. Behold this revolutionary paint mixing tray with lid :-)\r\n\r\nThis is my first attempt at creating an in-place printing paint mixing tray. I designed and sliced this project in Cura using concentric supports, 0.2mm layers, and a 0.4mm nozzle. I printed it in PLA. After removing the support from below the bottom part and the accessible section between the hinges and the top lid, I carefully closed the lid, breaking loose the few supports inside the hinge, wobbled it around a bit, and it worked like a charm. I've tried it twice, and it works both times.
