I wanted replaceable shaft options so I did not need to re-print the entire model if it broke. This also allows smaller printers to print the regular sized mixer. The spade bit adapters allow you to use a steel spade bit, and print quickly, less than 23 minutes for me with 4 or 5 walls. Alternatively, print the shaft in an hour (fast settings) with .22-.24 layer height and 5 walls. Note: for the half-shaft insert, rotate the object 90 deg to lay flat before printing. Print 2
