Paint Mixer Blade

Paint Mixer Blade

thingiverse

I wanted to design a paint mixer blade that could be easily attached to a threaded rod and powered by a drill. This is an attempt at creating a simple yet effective design. The model is highly adaptable, allowing it to be resized as needed to suit different applications. As this design remains untested, I will soon put it to the test through 3D printing. UPDATE: After printing the mixing blade, I successfully attached a long masonry bit to the piece using epoxy. This makeshift attachment allowed me to use the drill with ease. The bit easily passed through the inside bottom hole of the mixer, providing a secure fit. Initial results show that the mixer is working well, effectively blending paint with minimal effort. As a word of caution, I strongly advise against starting the drill when the blade is in contact with the surface of the paint. This can result in a messy and potentially hazardous situation. To avoid this, it's best to start with low speed settings and gradually increase the power as needed. When operating the mixer, be sure to exercise extreme caution, as it can become dangerous if not handled properly.
