Paint cup for Iwata Eclipse HP-SBS side-feed airbrush
thingiverse
This is a paint cup for side feed Iwata Eclipse HP-SBS airbrushes. This cup has been designed for very small amounts of paint (1.5cc) and features a funnel shape for maximum paint efficiency. It has a foot so it is self-standing, and the siphon tube prevents paint from dripping out. Now you can have multiple cups with different color paints and swap between them as necessary! I have included the DesignSpark Mechanical sketch file so you can make any changes you find necessary. Have fun, and happy spraying! ### Important notes: I printed it with the stem of the tube pointing straight down. This has created a couple of issues: 1. during printing the cup sagged a little under its own weight and became a bit oval. Doesn't seem to affect function though. 2. A constriction formed at the top bend of the tube, possibly from a drop of resin that was retained and cured by subsequent UV exposures. Printing with the tube at a slight angle might fix this. 3. The stem could probably use being a smidge thicker. It doesn't feel quite as jammed into the airbrush as I would have liked, but the flow of paint is fine. Might require slightly higher PSI than normal, but I had no issues.
