It might be tricky to grasp exactly how it functions in photographs, but essentially, the device features a slot where you insert your brush that pinches and wrings it out. Simply fill the slot with water or paint thinner, and you should be able to remove most of the paint without making a mess. Using paint thinner will also prove more efficient. Make sure to print the tool in suitable materials so as not to melt the plastic, and print thick enough so that the device doesn't leak. I printed at 1.2mm walls @ 0.2mm layer height @ 20% infill and it's 100% waterproof. The brush slot initially measures 1mm wide but narrows down to 0.4mm. Keep in mind that if you plan on using it for larger, thicker brushes, you'll need to scale the design accordingly. This size is more suited to smaller detailing brushes but can still work with larger ones too. The tool can easily hold multiple brushes, allowing you to clean one without interfering with the others. Overall, it's a more convenient design than initially apparent.
