Human: The Pagani Zonda Story Began Over a Decade Ago: The Italian car company, Pagani, has been producing super sports cars since 1999, with an average annual production of about ten units. Its sleek design and powerful engine make it a true showstopper on the road or at a racetrack. With a rear-central mounted engine and a carbon fiber body that holds two people in a coupe or convertible style, the Zonda is undeniably one of a kind. Pagani drew inspiration from legendary Formula 1 champion Juan Manuel Fangio when engineering the car. The initial design was intended to be called "Fangio F1" but after his passing in 1995, Pagani rebranded it as the Zonda, paying tribute to a warm wind blowing through western Argentina. Horacio Pagani's dream took shape while he worked at Lamborghini as a builder on projects such as the Lamborghini Countach Evoluzione and designer for models like the P140 and Lamborghini Diablo. Fangio recommended Pagani for his role at Lamborghini, which paved the way for the birth of the Zonda. An astonishing feat of engineering, the Zonda surpassed all 36 stringent security tests before it hit the market, proving its unwavering commitment to safety and excellence. Track tests carried out by experts showcased its exceptional dynamics and handling compared to other supercars.
