I enjoyed the aesthetic of this lock but discovered that when cut into wood or perspex, it shattered quite readily. Therefore, I utilized the design as a starting point for creating 3D models suitable for 3D printing. A few adjustments were necessary to achieve seamless functionality. This robust lock now operates smoothly and efficiently. To provide additional stability, I incorporated two holes into the model to accommodate bolts that can be used to secure it in place. Please note that the bolts themselves are not included in this design.
