Hello friends, I'm excited to share a radio-controlled model of a wheeled steamer with you. The parrot-shaped vessel measures approximately 980mm in length, and it's crafted from high-quality PLA material. You're free to experiment with different nozzle sizes - I used 0.6 and 0.4, but feel free to choose what works best for you. The files are optimized for printing on a 400x400x400 printer, but if you have smaller printers, don't worry - simply split the slicer to achieve a smooth print. Keep in mind that this model isn't designed for speed; its concept prioritizes functionality over rapid movement. I recommend swapping toothed wheels with yellow motors from Arduino robots to significantly reduce noise levels. Big gears can be quite loud, but they work effectively. To secure the wheels to their axes, drilling and attaching a wire is the most straightforward approach. Alternatively, you can use high-quality glue for a reliable bond. Check out my photos of the construction process for more insights! I recommend this model to experienced RC enthusiasts - it's perfect for those who've already mastered the basics of radio-controlled models.
