Paddle drip ring (divisible)
thingiverse
** Divisible kayak paddle drip ring (7,5 cm outer diameter) ** All models for kayak drip rings I found so far were designed as a one part ring. My idea was to create a drip ring which can be easily mounted without using tools, regardless of the paddle type. So I've chosen a multipart approach. The outer diameter of the ring is slightly larger than the factory ring (plus 2 cm). The drip ring consists of two halves which will be joined by two sturdy clips. The inner diameter of the ring is 28 mm which fits exactly for the paddles of my Decathlon Itiwit X100 kayak. I've tested the rings under real life conditions and I don't want to miss them ;-) Please let me know when your paddles have a different diameter. Maybe I can create and upload another size as well. _Assembling instructions:_ The clips will fit very tight on the ring, so don't worry if they seem to be too small on the first attempt. They aren't. You will need some power to slide the clips over the ring. It's a good idea to assemble the ring the first time without the paddle. The second time it will be easier. _Printing instructions:_ The clips must be printed with support. The type of filament doesn't matter. You can print it with ABS, PLA, PETG or TPU.
