Pacman Ring

This ring is a chic, modern throwback of one of the former most-loved games of America. Due to the ring’s thin fit, it allows a lightweight feeling. Unlike normal rings, it does not completely go around your finger. One of its ends are shaped as Pacman itself, while the other end is shaped as a ghost. It is designed to look as if the pacman is chasing the ghost, just like in the game. This piece of jewelry was created by rotating the circle around a point, and extruding it 0.45 mm. The circle was not rotated completely, in order to create an incomplete arc. On each end, a new plane was created. On one of the planes, an arc was created. Then, to create pac man's mouth, lines were added connecting to the center of the circle. This shape was then extruded. A circle to form its eyes was place on the upper half and then was intruded to create a hole. On the other plane, a ghost shape was created using a semi circle, two lines, and a zig zag of lines. This shape was also extruded. This technique resulted in this ring pictured above.
