Pac-guy USB Stereo Speaker - 3D Modeling Design and Prototyping Demo for Students Using the same components as Thingiverse's #1267068 project, this Pac-guy USB stereo speaker is a great way to demonstrate 3D modeling design and prototyping techniques to students. The following parts are required: * 2 x 40mm 3W speakers (such as those found at goo.gl/0C5fYP) * A USB Audio Dongle (similar to this one: goo.gl/0mIdO9) * A micro audio amplifier (available here: goo.gl/5EiPAM) * A 3.5mm headphone jack * Wires Power for the micro audio amplifier comes from the USB connector of the audio dongle. Watch a demo video of this project in action at https://youtu.be/ufk-sHNWbp8. For printing, we recommend using: * Printer: da Vinci 1.0 with open-source firmware * Supports: Yes * Resolution: 0.2mm * Infill: 10% Important Notes: We suggest printing the bot and top parts with a brim in addition to using support material. To assemble the 3D printed parts, use M2 screws to join them together. Use a glue gun to secure the speaker holder to the top part and slide the speakers into place. Tighten them further with M2 screws.
