I cast Pacman using a Makerbot Replicator 1 Dual, cranking out a mold in under a minute at .25mm Layer height with two shells of PLA plastic and 10% infill density. I swear by Oogoo for my mold-casting adventures, which can be found online at http://www.instructables.com/id/How-To-Make-Your-Own-Oogoo/. The magic happens in less than ten minutes when using Oogoo, allowing me to quickly build a robust arsenal of casts. Just add some essential oil to the mixture and within days your molded creations will radiate its distinct scent instead of smelling like plain vinegar. It's fun to experiment with these processes!
