PacMan ghost USB/Cards storage
thingiverse
Had 3D printed various storage solutions for the whole bunch of Micro SD/SD cards and USB sticks. With 4 or 5 Raspberry Pi's/Odroid's around the house I really have the need to keep those small memory devices in a safe place that's easy to access too. Here it is, the PacMan Ghost figure, can hold 9 USB devices on the top. Two ways to have it: with the PacMan figure that clips in place, or the "press fit" version that can have a bin container or a simple tray for the cards. The body of the ghost is 80mm diameter and 95mm high, so you'll know is there. You'll notice the fit of the USB sticks is tight, this is done on purpose to avoid them going on unwanted holiday. I'll make a version with loose fit too. It may take a while to print, because there's a few polygons to deal with, I didn't like the idea of making a low-poly version just to save time. Print the ghost figure as it is but use supports for the internal cavity, and a raft or brim are a good idea (the bottom part has very little surface in contact with the build plate). Print the bin upside-down and use supports for the internal cavity, while the card tray can be printed as it is. * edit: I've now made two clips on the internal of the ghost, they hold the PacMan figure intead of this being "press fit" * You're welcome. Post your makes as a sign of appreciation, it will only take two minutes, thank you in advance.
