PacMan Chasing Ghosts
thingiverse
Pac-Man takes shape from an icosidodecahedron cut in half with one corner sliced away. Chasing Pac-Man are ghostly entities fashioned from the versatile 3D printed design found on my http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:513489 webpage. Scaling rules must be adhered to: the scaled Pac-Man model will reach an impressive height of 35 millimeters along the Z axis, while the eerie ghosts, courtesy of the referenced http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:513489 website, take center stage at 30 millimeters tall on their own Z-axis journey. As I discovered firsthand when using a MakerBot Replicator Mini to bring Pac-Man to life with an interior slice featuring twenty percent infill - less would indeed yield frustrating bridging problems with the filament - patience was key as we navigated through printing issues to bring our beloved game characters together on this 3D printed escapade. To prevent unexpected accidents or mishaps, I took care to carefully secure each build's foundation base painter's tape by applying a delicate yet powerful touch of glue stick before final assembly and decoration could be finalized.
