This is a complete model of 61051 - ARRANGEMENT - PISTONS, RINGS, AND CONNECTING RODS for the Packard V-1650-7 Merlin engine, which is the version used in the P-51 Mustang. Modeled and rendered in Solidworks 2021 and Photoview360.During World War II Packard Motor Cars received a license from the British luxury car manufacturer (who I cannot name because if I do Grabcad will shadowban my models with no explanation) to manufacture it's famed V-12 known as the Merlin 66 in America for use in US warplanes. The result was the Packard V-1650, one of the most well known and most popular aircraft engines used in US aircraft (which isn't to say the original maker's Merlin wasn't equally famous).
