Packard Merlin V-1650-7 Cylinder Head Castings

3/30/24 Update: I found several errors when I went to put the machining in the head, the files have been updated to reflect the necessary changes. I have also added STL and STEP files in.This pair of models are for the castings of parts 615850; HEAD - CYLINDER "B" UNIT and 615851; HEAD - CYLINDER "A" UNIT. The A unit is the right hand head and the B unit is the left hand head. The drawings are for the B unit, so that is the base model while the A unit is a mirror. However there are some minor differences between the two, so it wasn't as simple as just mirroring the part. Like the other castings I have done, I will also be making derived parts for "machined" versions of the parts. The cylinders and their associated assemblies I mentioned in my last post have been completed, but since the major assembly included the heads, I need to wait and finish the head assemblies in order to post them on here. After that I was thinking of doing either the valve covers or the intake and exhaust manifolds. though I am tempted to do the wheelcase, too.During World War II Packard Motor Cars received a license from the British luxury car manufacturer (who I cannot name because if I do Grabcad will shadowban my models with no explanation) to manufacture it's famed V-12 known as the Merlin 66 in America for use in US warplanes. The result was the Packard V-1650, one of the most well known and most popular aircraft engines used in US aircraft (which isn't to say the original maker's Merlin wasn't equally famous).
