Pacing Horse
myminifactory
Bronze horses were a sensation in 1500s and 1600s Europe, mass-produced in leading workshops across the continent. However, this particular sculpture stands out for its size and uniqueness compared to others of its kind. It likely once belonged to Emperor Rudolf II's prized collection in Prague. Adriaen de Vries might have even modeled it after one of the emperor's actual horses. The sculpture was later acquired by Queen Kristina. These 3D scans were captured using an Artec Eva, with a goal of creating a digital replica that closely matches the original. While they are not exact duplicates, minor deviations may exist due to inaccessible areas and other limitations.
