Pacific Rim SHOULD have been a bad movie. It was cheesy, the script wasn't great, the acting was a bit hammy, the characters weren't exactly deep and some of the events were a bit silly (using an oil tanker as a baseball bat? Please...). But it just wasn't. It just WORKED, and it proved again the utter genius of Guillermo del Toro as a filmmaker, director and writer. If you haven't seen it you really need to; it's just a perfect piece of turn-your-brain-off entertainment and you'll end up coming back to it time and time again. This coaster is the logo of the Pan-Pacific Defence Corps, the organisation operating the Jaeger robots who fight the giant kaiju monsters.  So now you can use it as a coaster or bung it on your cosplay!
