Pachyrhinosaurs Lakustai is a ceratopsian dinosaur, from the Cretaceous Period, characterized by massive bosses on its nose and eyes instead of traditional horn cores associated with Triceratops. Three recognized species - P. Pretorum, P. Canadensis, and P. Lakustai - inhabited regions from present-day northern Montana to Alaska. These dinosaurs were substantial in size and roamed across the land. The frill ornamentation on Pachyrhinosaurus Lakustai is particularly striking, with a significant gap between its eye and nose bosses. It originates from the Wapiti formation in Alberta. During its time, the Western Interior Seaway was retreating, leaving behind diverse wet environments like wetlands, peat swamps, river deltas, estuaries, and subtropical climates. Like all ceratopsians, Pachyrhinosaurus Lakustai had specialized teeth designed for consuming tough vegetation such as cycads. This digital model was created in Blender and detailed in Mudbox, with its polycount reduced for printing purposes.
