PA28 Air Vent and Bezel, Version 2
thingiverse
This is version 2 of the Air Vent and Bezel for a Piper Cherokee Model PA28, designed to deliver seamless functionality. Version 2 boasts a precision-crafted chamfered fit between the Vent Cup and the Bezel, ensuring smooth rotation when installed. I have rigorously tested the fit on my 1966 PA28-180 and can confidently attest that it fits like a glove and functions flawlessly. The design was brought to life utilizing ESun ePC filament, renowned for its flame retardant properties, which I printed on an Artillery Sidewinder X1. Upgrades to this setup included a Hermera direct drive extruder and all metal hot end, significantly enhancing print quality. The Vent Cups were printed without support, with 20% infill, while the Bezel was printed with 15% support and 20% interior fill for added structural integrity.
