Small adapter needed for P60 LED Dropin (KDLITKER P6-L2 Cree XM-L2 800 Lumens 3V-9V LED P60 Drop-in, ~$9 US) in Halcyon Scout 3C Backup Light. Had to remove small inner spring from dropin. Additional spacer as electric connection between batteries and dropin required. O ring needed to hold spacer in place. No suitable spacer found, so one cut out of old copper plate used instead. Two tubes act as battery adapter. Outer tube allows use of 2x 21700 rechargeable batteries. LEDs get too hot with this setup. Both tubes allow use of 3x AA rechargeable batteries. Some C to AA adapters available online (https://www.thingiverse.com/search?q=battery+C+AA+adapter) might be better option. Runtime with 3 fully charged AA batteries (1900mAh each) around 2.5 hours.
