V2.0: I upgraded the entire adapter completely. I adjusted to the correct flange focal distance of 30.1mm and updated all components, resulting in the shift functionality now working flawlessly. V1.0: This is a hardcore remix of the "Pentax 645 to Sony E mount" Tilt Shift Adapter. First and foremost, the Shift function isn't operational yet but I'm confident it will be functioning properly in my second version soon enough. My initial goal was to shrink this adapter so that I can utilize my Biometar 80mm/2.8 from Carl Zeiss on my Canon 5D mkII or III as a regular portrait lens. I discovered another project that was similar to the Pentax remix but both of them have Macro functionality and the focus range is fixed at infinity. My objective was to maintain the normal focus range of this lens, which means the distance between camera body and mid-format camera lens has to be 24mm. After assembling the parts, I was impressed by how well this old lens performs when attached to my 5D. Yes, I noticed during remixing that the shift couldn't work but what mattered most to me was tilting the lens because of adjusting and tilting the depth of field. This effect is quite nice for portraits. Of course, you can add this to your images with Photoshop, but building your own Tilt-Adapter is much more enjoyable.
