P47 instrument panel and cockpit
thingiverse
It started out as just the P-47 instrument panel, designed for use in a Hangar 9 P-47 Razorback airplane (1:7 scale, spanning around 170cm). Then I added the cockpit left and right sides. Next came the floor panel and seat. My primary source of inspiration was Chad Veich's work at http://s23.photobucket.com/user/CVEICH/library/P-47%20COCKPIT?sort=3&page=1. Printing it requires a nozzle of .2mm, a line width of 2mm, and a layer height set as low as possible. If you decide to print this design, I'd love to see how it turns out! I'm always eager to check out other people's creations. By the way, keep in mind that the real-life cockpit picture you'll find is only of the instrument panel mentioned above; the left and right sides are actually part of a cockpit kit by Topflite.
