p407 servo holder
thingiverse
To eliminate the long push rod from the original servo mount, I created this solution. It's designed to be inserted into the front plate of the car, between the chassis rails. Simply remove the two screws on both sides and slide it in, then reattach the screws. This replaces the internal nuts. If you want to retain the original bumper, you'll need to drill through the top front holes with a 2.5mm drill before reinstalling it. Next, release the steering arm (2mm bolts) on the left side and relocate it to the right. Then, create a new push rod for the servo. I reused my original servo and servosaver, but you can use any standard-sized servo if needed. Additionally, you'll need to reposition the shocks to the rear, as shown in the image, to clear the new push rod.
