P3Steel Leadscrew upgrade
thingiverse
Yo dawg, I heard you like leadscrews, right? So this is an upgrade for your P3Steel, allowing you to use leadscrews on both the X and Y axes. The X axis conversion is a breeze, but you'll need to modify the metal parts for the Y axis. I didn't design a holder for the carrier because there's such a wide variety of screws and extruder mounts out there. You can fit a regular Nema 17 motor, a 15mm coupling, an 8mm lead screw, or 608 bearings with ease. For the bearing and motor side, you'll need a small support. Print both parts of the X-axis in one direction and attach them to the printbed to maintain tight tolerances. You might need to improve the holes for the 8mm rods with a drill.
