Simple Filament Guide for the P3Steel. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Choose a Printer Brand. RepRap Printer: Pick a Printer. Rafts: You can Print with or without a Raft, it doesn't really Matter. I've done it both ways on my 2 Prusa I2, and honestly neither seems like the Right answer yet to me. Supports: Supports do not make sense. It depends on what your designing. Some prints Need support for stability while other print designs use support in creative ways to give strength and or visual effect, so no there's really isn't a One-size Fits All rule for Supports. Infill: You have complete Control over the amount of Material used inside your model using a process known as infill percentage. Some prints can benefit from 30% and up, however on average my Prusa models seem to get nice print with an Infil percent around 10% I don't see why you wouldn't try 20%. You just have to play it by ear on that one. Speed: Depending on the design of your object, speed can vary greatly. For Example on my P3Steel, I set my speed settings to around 100mm/s with a Infill of 30%, this gives me decent prints with good Layer resolution for Prusa printers like myself using FFF (Fused filament Fabrication) but in the future as your designs and printing capabilities improve so should you.
