P3Steel bed auto-level and anti-shake
thingiverse
I designed a solution to prevent bed shaking during acceleration movements and obtain a fixed auto-leveling system, eliminating the need for software-based leveling while maintaining the original spring suspension protection. This is achieved by setting a fixed height for the table using printed parts, with the original spring protection suspension retained under the heated bed to provide support for the fixed height and hotend collision protection. The solution can be used in either 4-point or 3-point assembly configurations. Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer Model: P3Steel Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.25mm Infill: 40% to 60% Notes: This solution is straightforward. Simply print the auto-level mounts, assemble them according to the instructions, and start printing. Post-Printing Assembly: 1. Slide the printed auto-level mounts into the printer's steel base bed. 2. Insert the spring from inside the mount between the heated bed (bottom) and the steel base bed (top). 3. Thread an M3 screw through the top hole of the mount, going through the spring and exiting at the bottom. 4. Secure the screw with an M3 nut in the bottom socket. The nut should self-lock when tightened. 5. Begin printing with confidence.
