P3Steel Anti Z-Wobble
thingiverse
This is my revised version of the P3Steel X and Z axis parts that originally came with my printer. The main objective was to eliminate z-wobble effect that I experienced after 7~8mm of printing height. Printing quality has now become incredibly better. Here are the changes I made: I adjusted the Z threaded rod position based on irobri's CAD files. I added anti-wobbling nuts inspired by toolson's anti-wobble system. I added bottom holding locks to keep the 8mm smooth rods in place, preventing them from skipping out due to hole tolerance. I installed top 625ZZ bearing support on the threaded rod to limit wobbling effect. I replaced tensor-printed bearings with a tensor that accepts a couple of F604ZZ, improving GT2 belt straightness. WARNING Due to the deformation of my threaded rods, the wobbling effect on my printer is so big that the new system makes it a bit noisier, especially during Z homing. The noise level remains almost the same during print.
